In November 2004, we participated in the organisation of the "(re)sources" symposium on access to water and energy in Libreville.
After this symposium, several of us wished to extend the work begun and created the "(re)sources network", network of exchanges, reflection and information on these problems of access to essential services in emerging countries.
Coordinated by Pierre Victoria, the (re)sources network wishes to multiply the opportunities for meeting and dialogue between its members and the personalities and the concerned organisations from the international community.
It is therefore in this perspective that the (re)sources network is organising at the end of September, 2005 a seminar of reflection for formulating proposals during the 2006 World Forum in Mexico City.
This meeting will focus on three main themes, the right to water, the roles of institutional and operational players and lastly, people's participation.
